Planet Friendly Paint started as an experimental university project by our founder, Ameenah, stemming from a reflection of her own unsustainable habits and how we could make small changes for rippling big impact, without constantly feeling guilty about our everyday decisions. Fast forward to today and these art supplies are enjoyed all over the world by artists of all abilities! In the hectic society we live in, we believe it's important to help each other live a little more kindly, consciously and remember that creativity requests joy, not perfection.
OUR STORY
Vision
Recycling solutions for cosmetic packaging exist, refill schemes for cosmetics exist, but what about the pigmented colour cosmetics that actually hold the value which we can no longer use? That's where we fit into the circular economy puzzle perfectly. By creating Planet Friendly Paint with a purpose, we can encourage those with influence at all levels to get involved in making an effort to choose how we treat our planet. Our innovative approach to waste reduction aims to help cosmetic retailers to achieve their sustainability goals whilst allowing everyday people to be involved in a larger, yet practical change. Together, we can help save our planet one brushstroke at a time!

Art Supplies
Our unique watercolour paints are truly one-of-a-kind. Each watercolour is handmade using our own binder and a mix of carefully sorted pigments sourced from cosmetics companies and everyday people. But we know many of you will be looking for gifts too, so we also offer beautiful accessory products that are as locally sourced or sustainable as possible, so you can shop with us with a free conscience and create your own bundles. More creative power to your pockets!
